Eat & Learn

An alternative to dinner a movie? Well, in dining at a Chinese restaurant we frequent, one of the waiters informed us that if you reheat sweet rice dumplings that have already been cooked (from frozen) in the microwave, they'll explode. Huh. Really now? Has someone been doing some crazy zapping? Maybe I should try it for the heck of it. The recommended method is to just reheat them on the stove in some boiling water.

Honestly, disregard it all. Don't reheat them. Just throw them out. If you can't eat them right after they've been made, don't bother to cook them at all. The leftovers will stick together into a massive clump. Attempts to separate them will result in a mess of filling oozing out or frustration or both. Save yourself the hassle, and leave them as a treat for another day.
